When simple gets simpler! Pipeline Pilot Calculated Columns for TIBCO Spotfire
With the release of version 5.3 of the Discngine Connector we introduce a new feature: “Pipeline Pilot Calculated Columns”. Based on the Pipeline Pilot Data Function extension, it makes the data retrieval and transformation of Spotfire data columns with a Pipeline Pilot protocol simpler than ever.
Executing a Pipeline Pilot Calculated Columns is a two steps process:
Select Add Data columns from the Data menu entry
Enter the Pipeline Pilot Calculated Columns expression function
Pipeline Pilot Calculated Columns concept: Add and/or transform data columns with a Pipeline Pilot protocol
When triggered, the protocol reads Spotfire Data columns and create or modify records. Then the desired return column is written back in a SBDF File
Pipeline Pilot Calculated Columns can be used to add, transform columns or in chart axes. Check out the commented video below
